一个平等博爱的契机，让我们来与历史对话
艺术8座落在一个神奇的场地，这里是年由孙中山所创立的中法大学的旧址。无论是门楣上刻着“民生、自由、平等、博爱”，还是夹墙种的孙文遗嘱碑中的“革命尚未成功，凡我同志，继续努力”，都不断的在向我们提示这来自近年前的重托。孙文遗嘱中写道：“余致力国民革命凡四十年，其目的在求中国之自由平等。积四十年之经验深知欲达到此目的，必须唤起民众及联合世界上以平等待我之民族，共同奋斗。”体现了他关爱中国人民及国家前途的本质，团结全世界以及所有同道者，继续奋斗的热诚，时至今日，依然感染者所有的人。时至百年后的今天，“艺术8青年艺术家奖”继承了这一精神，以平等待我之民族的心态，秉承平等自由之精神，用博爱的热情坚持公益与好客，使墙上冰冷的《总理遗嘱》的石碑，再次获得温暖的延续的生命。
